The gardens of Roberts Camp are the home to an incredible number of 120 regularly occurring bird species. Some are (in Kenya) only found around Lake Baringo and further north towards Lake Turkana. These include a resident pair of Jackson’s Hornbills, a huge number of White-billed Buffalo-Weavers,
Northern Masked Weaver (which are (in Kenya) only found at Lake Baringo) as well as the Bristle-crowned Starlings, who like to feed on fruiting trees within the camp ground or take a bath at the bird bath at the Thirsty Goat Bar.
